Engraving by Nicolas de Poilly (1627-1686), "Veue du Palais Royal du cote du Jardin" ("View of the Royal Palace from the Garden side"), hand-colored.  Engraving is 10-3/4"h x 13-1/2"w,  in molded 20th century frame colored bright goldtone, 14-3/4"h x 17-5/8"w.  Glass has been cleaned, print has been remounted and preserved with new backing, also new hanging wire.  Note moisture stains along top and left as well as bottom, also paper tear bottom right, not affecting image.
