Russian cross, 19th century bronze,  having 3 cross bars.  Front top depicts bearded God holding cross over orb,  over rooster flanked by 2 cherubs.  Middle section depicts Christ nailed to cross,  flanked by 2 round faces.  On each side of his feet are portions of a citadel.  Beneath the cross is a skull over leafy branch.  These images are surrounded by navy blue and white enamel. Note small blue enamel chip top right.  Back of cross  shows lines of caligraphy in top two-thirds,  over Russian cross with more caligraphy,  over a human face.  Dimensions:  13-3/4"h x 7"w.
